Prime minister hints G.D.P. at 9.2 percent during 12th plan
Government to take tough measures for achieving targeted 9 percent G.D.P during 12th five year plan. Government had only left to take tough responsible measures and in addition take forward the financial reforms is only answer Prime Minister Manmohn Singh said in full pledged planning commission meeting. He stressed following issues important to take financial reforms foreword.
. To increase growth from 8.2 percent to 9 percent G.D.P. possible only if we impose strict financial discipline measures are followed. But Prime Minister said we are targeting 9.2 percent G.D.P. during 12th five year plan.
. To balance growth government should improve implementation of government important programs in transparency and most efficient way.
. Second phase of reforms are very difficult for the country unless national people consensus suggestions are necessary to go ahead with reforms. In various issues we to enact acts in this direction. To implement acts 2/3 majority is required in parliament. In some issues there is no common policy is the main problem now.
. All political parties should stand as on national unity to create awareness in national priority issues in environment where all political parties strengthen government with common program and that is foremost important for country’s growth.

. To reduce inflation pressure we have to increase rural income during 12th five year plan to attain 4 percent agriculture growth.
. We have to invest more funds for infrastructure sector for creating world class quality infrastructure facilities for attaining 9 percent growth during 12th five year plan.
. Government to encourage private partnerships for funds and also encourage Government - private partnership to improve funds availability to boost infrastructure facilities in country.
We need to bring new act essentially required for acquiring land for industries and mines for improving growth.
. Health , education , skill development are prioritized as common important programs in12th five year plan for common growth in all programs.
. It is essential to prioritize funds, as we have select important programs since limited funds are available.
. We have to reduce dependence on high power consuming industries. In same time we have to develop and tap our own fuel. The regulated economical fuel charges are only solution for this problem.
. For want resources development we should reduce water utilization.
. We should utilize government funds judicially at utmost responsibility efficient economical manner. Center government should develop regular discussions with state governments on funds utilization.
